Garmin GPSMAP 230/235. This new
chartplotter installs easily in open
cockpit and overhead boxes.
line is quick map redraws using a high speed RISC processor. Detailed marine GPS
cartography is presented on a high resolution (240 x 360 pixels), 10-level grayscale,
liquid crystal display.
With a built-in worldwide basemap, the Garmin GPSMAP 232 is fully compatible with
Garmin's new BlueChart® marine GPS cartography and many MapSource® CD-ROM
products. It is designed to provide precise marine GPS positioning using correction
data obtained from the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). Garmin GPSMAP
232 provides position accuracy to less than three meters when receiving WAAS
corrections. Both products also accept RTCM-104 differential corrections.
